Pivot/Shift: How the Hip Impacts the Lower Extremities

Pathology and muscle imbalance of the hip can affect the dysfunctions seen in the knee and foot. This workshop is geared to rehabilitation and post rehabilitation specialists and will present interventions to restore function the hip and lower extremities. A mat class will be taught incorporating therapeutic movements that will address many of the dysfunctions discussed.
The Key to the Neck: Unlocking the Thoracic Spine

Many head and neck dysfunctions including headaches, degenerative diseases and postural deficits are influenced by the upper thoracic spine. This workshop is geared toward rehabilitation and post rehabilitation specialists and will present interventions to restore function to the cervical thoracic complex. A mat class that will address dysfunctions discussed.
Lise Stolze earned her master’s degree in physical therapy (MPT) IN 1993 AND her Doctor of Science (DSc) in 2011. She serves as an affiliate faculty member at the Regis University and is an educator and examiner for Polestar Pilates Education. She is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance and Gyrotonic Expansion System. She has recently completed her research study on lower back pain and Pilates, and submitted it for publication in a peer reviewed physical therapy journal.
